Today we saw two spanking new Frigates, INS Udaygiri and INS Himgiri, join the Indian Navy. They are reincarnations of two Leander class frigates, built in India back in the seventies , to serve the navy and the nation till the turn of the century, while I was still in the Navy as an Engineer officer.
