Priyadarshini Baruah is a Research Associate at the Centre for Aerospace Power and Strategic Studies (CAPSS), New Delhi. At CAPS, she is working on a fellowship project titled ‘New Media and Terrorism’. She holds a Master’s in Geopolitics and International Relations from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Karnataka. Before joining CAPS, she gained valuable experience through internships at the Institute of Cyber Policy Studies in Israel and the Forum for Integrated National Security (FINS). She was selected as a Fellow at the Takshashila Institution’s Network for Advanced Study of Pakistan (NASP) for the 2024–2025 cohort, a program designed to deepen the understanding of Pakistan’s security dynamics.
Priyadarshini has published articles on various topics related to Islamist terrorism and radicalism in South Asia in professional journals and edited volumes. She regularly engages with think tanks across India and is frequently invited by institutions to deliver lectures and present her research findings.
