Dr. Sana Hashmi is a Fellow at the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation and affiliated with the Research Institute for Indo-Pacific Affairs. Her research focuses on Taiwan’s foreign relations, China’s foreign policy, and Indo-Pacific security. A former Consultant at India’s Ministry of External Affairs, she has also worked with CAPS, SAFHR, CTA, and IDSA. She was a MOFA Fellow in Taiwan and a UK Next-Gen policy scholar. She holds an MPhil and PhD from JNU and is the author of China’s Approach towards Territorial Disputes. She is currently writing a book on India in Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy.
