3. Trump played a key role in ending hostilities between India and Pakistan: Marco Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has claimed US President Donald Trump was very involved in bringing about the cessation of hostilities in the perilous conflict between India and Pakistan.
Speaking at the United Nations Security Council Ministerial Meeting on Ukraine on September 23, Rubio said, “When President Trump took office, he made it among his highest priorities the restoration of peace anywhere and everywhere in the world where the opportunity presented itself. And it's met with great success in a number of places.”
We had a conflict between India and Pakistan, which was a very dangerous conflict, and one that he chose to engage in and was able to bring it to a cessation of hostilities, he said.
4. Israel destroys evacuated health centre in Gaza

Israel destroyed the main centre in Gaza City after ordering its evacuation. The Palestinian Medical Relief Society said an Israeli strike reduced its six-story building in the central Samer area to rubble.
The centre was one of the main facilities in the city, providing blood donation and testing services, trauma care, cancer medicine, and chronic disease treatment.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military, which has repeatedly bombed and raided hospitals in Gaza throughout the war.
5. J-35 becomes the first jet to be launched from an aircraft carrier using EMALS

China has become the first country to launch a stealth fighter aircraft from an aircraft carrier using the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS). EMALS (Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System) is an electromagnetic catapult system developed by General Atomics and the U.S. Navy that uses a linear induction motor to launch aircraft from carriers, replacing traditional steam catapults.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) in a video posted on September 22, 2025, successfully demonstrated Fujian aircraft carrier launching combat aircraft like Shenyang J-35 stealth fighter and J-15T Feisha or Flying Shark (NATO reporting name: Flanker-X2, Flanker-K) using EMALS.
Before the Fujian show, the US Navy was the only force with the capability of operating aircraft carriers equipped with EMALS. The US Navy's USS Gerald R. Ford is the first ship of the class that employs EMALS, and the plan is to add five more such aircraft carriers, bringing the total fleet strength to six.
6. Ukraine can win all territories lost to Russia: Trump

Ukraine can win all territories lost to Russia, Trump posted on social media soon after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly gathering of world leaders.
I think Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form, Trump wrote. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started is very much an option.
The strengthened support from Trump, if it sticks, is a huge win for Zelenskyy, who has urged the American president to keep up the pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin to end his war. It was a departure from Trump’s previous suggestions that Ukraine would never be able to reclaim all the territory that Russia has occupied since seizing the Crimean Peninsula in 2014.
