1. Zen Technologies hosts Nigerian Defence Delegation

Zen Technologies Limited hosted the Nigerian Defence Delegation on July 29. The delegation comprised the Head of Armed Forces Procurement, senior generals of the Nigerian Army, and military domain experts. It evaluated counter-drone systems and military training solutions developed by Zen Technologies.
2. SIDM interacts with Sri Lankan DSSC delegation

The Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) interacted with a delegation of distinguished officers from the Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Sri Lanka, during their study visit to India on July 29, organised by HQ Integrated Defence Staff.
The interaction provided an opportunity to showcase the capabilities of India's indigenous defence industry, the progress achieved under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, and the growing role of the defence industry in strengthening the nation's defence ecosystem. Brigadier Ashis Bhattacharyya (Retd.), Principal Adviser, SIDM, highlighted the capabilities of the Indian defence industry and the potential for deeper India–Sri Lanka defence industrial cooperation.
3. Rosoboronexport launches RVV-SDM missile for Su-57E

The RVV-SDM missile is designed to equip the Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jets produced by UAC, a Rostec subsidiary, and delivered for export. It can also be used on other Russian-made aircraft after appropriate modifications and can be integrated into the armament systems of foreign-made aircraft.
The missile can engage targets flying at altitudes from 15 m to 25 km, including targets travelling at speeds of up to Mach 3. The RVV-SDM air-to-air missile is designed to engage aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, and UAVs around the clock and in an electronic countermeasures (ECM) environment. It is equipped with an active/passive radar seeker, an inertial control system, and a radio update link.
4. Empowered Committee meeting of Technology Development Fund Scheme held at DRDO

An Empowered Committee meeting of the Technology Development Fund Scheme was held at DRDO Bhawan under the chairmanship of Defence Secretary and Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman, DRDO, Rajesh Kumar Singh, with senior officers from the Ministry of Defence and other ministries. During the meeting, 17 new projects were approved for funding through the TDF Scheme.
Quartodonda Technologies, the winner of the Dare to Dream Challenge funded under the Technology Development Fund (TDF) Scheme, successfully handed over the indigenously developed Reconfigurable Digital Interceptor Receiver technology to the Empowered Committee, reinforcing India’s resolve to achieve Aatmanirbharta (self-reliance) in defence technologies.
5. US CENTCOM completes heavy wave of strikes on Iran

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces completed a heavy wave of strikes against Iran in response to yesterday's attempted missile attacks on U.S. forces. CENTCOM assets struck dozens of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran, including military command centres, missile and drone facilities, coastal surveillance and defence sites, and maritime capabilities.
